Year 4 - Sutton Hoo

Year 4 had a long and enjoyable day at Sutton Hoo in Woodbridge. The National Trust site was first discovered in 1939 when arcaeologists discovered the shape of an Anglo Saxon ship and subsequently the burial ground of Anglo-Saxon Royals. The children had guided tours of the site by National Trust volunteers and were able to learn further information to enhance their topic knowledge in school.
